On April 21, 2012, Candor in collaboration with Apple ran a workshop on Apple iPads for teaching and learning. Teacher were introduced to some applications that can be used with the kids including Edmodo and Socrative. Ms. Melanie Kells, Dean of Studies, Canadian International School, our workshop leader helped us explore useful applications for our classes. It became clear that with the use of iPads the teacher is a facilitator of the learning process, a creator of content which makes for student-centered engaging classrooms.It was another great learning experience and we hope that the journey continues.
