Mr. Ross Ferris
Principal / Head of School
Mr. Ross is an Australian who has worked in international schools located in China, Japan, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Indonesia, Cambodia and Switzerland for over 20 years. He has contributed to senior leadership teams in schools for over ten years. Ross is committed to fostering a student-centred, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment that empowers students and educators alike.
He believes that education should inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning while preparing students to navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Ross has student well-being and inclusion at the heart of his leadership and he is dedicated to fostering a culture where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered. He has much experience in leading accreditation and evaluation in schools and has been a visiting team member for the International Baccalaureate (IB), the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Ross is excited to join the Candor International School community and its mission of "preparing for life" and looks forward to leading the school in its continued journey of growth and success.
Ms. Aruna Adeel
Head of Secondary
Ms. Aruna Adeel brings over two decades of distinguished leadership experience in international education, having successfully led schools offering both the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula. Her career reflects an unwavering commitment to academic excellence, holistic student development, and the creation of vibrant, future-focused learning communities.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and a Certificate in School Leadership and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Further strengthening her expertise in contemporary educational practices, she is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching.
As the Founding Principal of a Cambridge school established in 2002, Ms. Aruna successfully obtained a Cambridge affiliation and worked closely with the British Council in Sudan, contributing significantly to the school's growth and academic standing. She also served as an Exam Officer from 2017 to 2023, gaining extensive experience in maintaining academic integrity and ensuring adherence to international assessment standards.
Prior to joining Candor International School, Ms. Aruna led an IB Continuum School, where she provided strategic leadership in both pedagogy and school operations, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
At Candor International School, Ms. Aruna serves as the Head of Secondary, bringing her wealth of experience, visionary leadership, and passion for nurturing globally minded learners.
Ms. Sreeja Nair
Head of Primary
Ms. Sreeja Nair is a seasoned academician and accomplished education leader with a distinguished track record in the IB PYP. With extensive experience in teaching, leadership, and curriculum development, she brings a wealth of expertise and a student-centric philosophy to her role as Head of Primary.
She holds a Master of Arts degree with a focus on English Language and Literature, along with a Bachelor of Commerce degree specialising in Economics and Commerce, and a Bachelor of Education degree. Her strong academic foundation is complemented by a deep commitment to effective teaching and the creation of engaging, inclusive learning environments.
Ms. Nair's leadership journey in education is marked by significant achievements. She served as the PYP Programme Coordinator from June 2012 to February 2023. In this role, she refined her leadership skills and played a key part in authorizing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. Her successful spearheading of both the 'IB Authorization' and 'IB Continuum Programme Evaluation' processes contributed significantly to the enhancement of educational standards and practices.
Her educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that nurturing young learners extends beyond imparting knowledge; it involves shaping them into responsible global citizens. She advocates for an educational approach that instils values of understanding, compassion, and acceptance of the diverse world around us. This commitment has been evident throughout her career as she strives to create an environment that encourages students to develop not only academically but also as individuals with a strong sense of social responsibility. As Head of Primary at Candor, she is enthusiastic about leveraging her skills and experiences to contribute to the growth and success of the school. Mr. Ganesh P
Cambridge Coordinator
Mr Ganesh P is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in Cambridge curriculum implementation, academic leadership, and examination management. His strategic approach and deep subject expertise continue to strengthen academic excellence and global learning at our school.
Throughout his career, Mr. Ganesh has demonstrated excellence in managing the Cambridge and Checkpoint examinations, earning commendation from the Cambridge Compliance Team for exemplary exam administration and adherence to standards. He has played a key role in leading the expansion and strengthening of Cambridge programmes, including the successful implementation of IGCSE and Cambridge Lower Secondary frameworks.
He is known for designing innovative academic resources such as learner handbooks, curriculum frameworks, and assessment systems aligned with Cambridge standards. Mr. Ganesh also conducts professional development sessions for educators on pedagogy, differentiation, metacognition, and assessment practices, empowering teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
In addition, he provides structured university and career guidance, supporting students in their higher education pathways and helping them make informed decisions for their future. Mr. Ganesh has also contributed significantly to interdisciplinary teaching, having taught IGCSE Biology, Coordinated Sciences, Environmental Management and IBDP Environmental Systems & Societies. His commitment to student engagement, academic excellence, and teacher development makes him a valuable addition to our institution.
He holds a Master's degree in Education, a Bachelor of Education in Biological Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology. He is also a certified University and Career Guidance Counselor, with credentials from IC3, GCC, and UCLA.
We are confident that his expertise and leadership will further strengthen our Cambridge programme and contribute meaningfully to our academic vision.
Ms. Rhona Gideon
IBPYP Coordinator
With over 16 years of experience in education, Ms. Rhona Gideon is an experienced IB PYP pedagogical leader with a strong focus on curriculum development, inquiry-based learning, assessment, and teacher capacity building. As an IB PYP Coordinator, she works closely with educators to strengthen teaching and learning practices and create meaningful, student-centred learning experiences.
Her academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to education and lifelong learning. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Science, an International Teaching Diploma, and a Master of Divinity. Her professional journey is deeply rooted in the IB philosophy and enriched through her completion of IB PYP Category 1, Category 2, and Category 3 workshops at different stages of her professional development. She brings a thoughtful and reflective approach to curriculum design, assessment, and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
Known for her keen attention to detail, reflective practice, and collaborative approach, Ms. Rhona believes that effective educational leadership is about creating the conditions for both teachers and learners to thrive. She is passionate about nurturing a culture of inquiry, curiosity, critical thinking, and student agency, while supporting teachers in translating the PYP framework into purposeful and engaging classroom experiences.
She firmly believes that every child deserves to feel valued, heard, and empowered in their learning journey. Her leadership is guided by the belief that strong learning communities are built through meaningful relationships, collaboration, continuous reflection, and a shared commitment to helping every learner achieve their personal best.
