The Film Appreciation Club at Candor made its beginning on Saturday 05, 2015. The students of the residential section and some staff attended the first session. Principal Mr. Samik Ghosh told the audience the story of cinema and how it all began. The members saw a short film on various basic terminologies and techniques of cinema. The first film screened was ‘Children of Heaven’, an Iranian film directed by Majid Majidi. The club will take up diverse film related activities at its sessions on three Saturday mornings every month.
