Zombies, bats, carved pumpkins and fun- ‘Night of the Dead’ an event organized by the Student Council Members of Candor International School, celebrated on 31st October 2014. Our school gave us the knowledge, experience and opportunity to celebrate Halloween, a festival which is usually not celebrated in India.
The party was held in a room with fairy lights, candles, glow paints and immensely amazing spooky decorations, done by our students of Candor. The students danced to jaw dropping creepy music and had pizzas. There was a Halloween theme bake sale as a fund raiser and an award for the best dressed male and female student. It really did look like the Night of the Dead, where people had dressed up in horrifying yet awesome disguise to save themselves from the dead who rise at night as Halloween was believed to be. This is what Candor is all about learning and experiencing in a fun way.
