Tribute to Teachers

In India 5th September is celebrated as Teachers’ day as a mark of tribute to the contribution made by teachers to the society. 5th September is the birthday of a great teacher Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was a staunch believer of education, and was the well-known diplomat, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher.

The students organized a programme for the teachers. The entire study body participated in someway in the programme. They organized a skit, a song, a dance and some fun games. The song they sang was “Heal the world”, one that relates to everyone of us. They even made teachers behave as students and they got a chance to scold the teacher and nag them just as a teacher would have. The teachers themselves had nostalgic moments, it was a fun and entertaining  programme. Hats off to them, for putting such a great show. Teachers enjoyed the programme and it was memorable for all.
