Calling themselves Partners for the Common Good, the students of Fourth Grade held a five-day Fundraiser as part of their Unit of Inquiry on how Non-profit Organizations exist to assist our community in different ways. In order to help children who are less fortunate and have little or no financial assistance to further their education the Fourth Graders not only collected funds by means of setting up food stalls but also made our young aware of the key qualities of living a wholesome life- Gratitude, Acceptance, Sensitivity and the spirit of Generosity.This little act of kindness from the children here at Candor has raised hope and a sense of community for a better tomorrow.
A big thank you to all the parents, the children, the Staff – both teaching and non teaching, Management and Administration at Candor for having contributed, supported and encouraged this Cause.
