NDTV Workshop Lights, Camera, Action……..!
At Candor,providing avenues for our students to explore, learn and grow has always been our focal point . It is indeed a privilege for us to have NDTV experts conduct a film-making workshop for our students going on now for 3 days 26th , 27th and 28th october 2015 in the school premises. The workshop timings will be 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students will be divided into two groups and on the last day of the workshop, the groups will make short films under the guidance of the experts.
Mr. AJMAL JAMI- Head of Department, Camera, NDTV
Mr. Ajmal Jami is a veteran in the industry for nearly thirty years. His body of work over the years includes covering the first Gulf War, elections in Pakistan, the Mandal agitation, Rajiv Gandhi’s assasination, Ayodhya, the post demolition riots and the blasts, militancy’s and army operations. In his nearly two decades with NDTV, his coverage of the Kargil war, the tsunami, the Bhuj earthquake and the one in Kashmir and Gujarat riot, stands out. He continues to capture moments with his camera lens as the head of the camera department at NDTV and works on documentaries as well.
Mr.DEVENDRA SINGH TOMAR-Assistant Manager, Technology, NDTV
Mr. Devendra is an expert with Video Automation systems and satellite communication. He handles Digital Archival systems and video collaboration systems at NDTV. With web designing experience, he also excels in video editing. He has done his management certificate from IIT Delhi, and BTech from Manipal.
We are convinced that this workshop will be a good learning experience for our students, with a lot to take away.
