On February 15, 2012, Candor in collaboration with Apple ran a workshop on Apple iPads for teaching and learning. The first session helped teachers become familiar with the device. The workshop demonstrated that technology is a tool and not a hindrance to teaching and learning. It became clear that with the use of iPads the teacher is a facilitator of the learning process, a creator of content which makes for student-centered engaging classrooms.  Candor will soon become an iPad school and ongoing teacher training will ensure that the devices are effectively used to deliver as well as create educational content.
