Dance Class

From Rabindranath Tagore of India to European education philosopher Steiner, educationists strongly believed that children must grow a sense of rhythm and coordination and feel the joy of movement. Kinesthetic learning is a way that suits many students and they choose their body movement to express themselves and achieve success. For a school like Candor where joy and freedom of expression for the students are fundamental to the curriculum, dancing is an essential ingredient. The students at Candor learn Bharatanatyam , Salsa & Free Style Dance. Dancing is used in a number of ways as a part of inter-disciplinary approach of the school. Irrespective of the style of dancing, sense of rhythm, body postures, organized movements and coordination are basic to all. Accompanying photographs reflect the happy and systematic learning that happiness in Mr. Neel Krishna Prasad’s dance classes.
