Children’s day, a day celebrated all over the world to remember how special, unique and precious each and every child is. Today our school too observed this day through various fun filled activities for our children. The day started off with a painting competition, theme being “Save our Children”. It was lovely to see our students’ creativity in their piece of work. This was followed by a special assembly conducted by the teachers for their students. The programme began with an inspiring invocation dance by our dance teacher. This was followed by a foot tapping song which brought the entire hall to life
through the unremitting claps and smiles of the children. What followed next was a short humorous role play entitled “The Story of the Three Little Pigs” which made everybody laugh especially the little ones. A short presentation on the origin of children’s day was given by one of our teachers. There was also a short soothing musical recital by some of our teachers. Last but not the least in the list of performances was a peppy dance which was again very entertaining. The day ended with a basketball challenge between students and teachers. The basketball court was buzzing with excitement and joy as seen in the enthusiasm of the spectators. It was surely a happy and fun filled day for our children as they left home with happy faces.
