Mechanization is becoming the way of 21stcentury life, and with it, the field of robotics is booming.Today Grade 7 attended their 1st robotics class, using sodium polyacrylate (SPA) which was converted into fake ice. SPA is a super absorbing polymer which absorbs more water and becomes 7 times bigger than the molecular size. With this activity, students were making small circuits with LED and resistor. LED lights glowed brightly when inserted into the fake ice. To say that all the students had a brilliant time dabbling their hands in this super fun activity would be stating the very obvious!!!
