The Dance, Drama and Music week was devoted to the showcasing what students have been learning in these three performance areas. Monday and Wednesday Assembly showcased the performance of students on various musical instruments like Piano, Violin, Flute, Tuba, Guitar and Drums. Tuesday showcased what students were learning in Drama. It was a unit on the ways humour is created. The students has us in splits as they presented their short pieces which displayed the growing level of confidence even in the most tentative clowns. The Thursday Assembly showcased the beginnings of Bharatnatyam and it was good to see how quickly the students have been able to pick up the basic steps. The week culminated in a showcasing of some of the well enjoyed presentations at the parent teacher assembly on Friday, March 30, 2012.
