Dr. Aninda Chatterjee, started his career in the year 1980 as the Senior Lecturer, Department of English Studies and Modern European Languages, University of Allahabad. He was part of a UN team that helped to set up the Royal University of Bhutan. Then he set his foot in the IB Curriculum as the Principal, Senior School, Pathways World School, Aravali, and got an internal transfer as the Principal of Pathways World School, Gurgaon. He then moved to GEMS Our Own English High School Sharjah, as the Principal/ CEO; again, he got an internal transfer to the GEMS New Millennium School, Dubai, as the founding Principal/ CEO, where he had students of 47 nationalities with 10 nationalities of teacher. He was also Executive Director, IQRA Group of schools. His last engagement was with Cathedral Vidya School Lonavala as the Principal/ CEO. He brings with him a vast knowledge and experience of various pedagogic and administrative experiences in the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge Programmes.
His schools have won numerous awards including the:
• Khalifa Award which is the highest education award in the UAE.
• Featured in Forbes India as the country’s leading educator.
• He is a Charles Wallace Fellow U.K. and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts U.K.
During his tenure Dr Aninda Chatterjee, has worked towards the review of the IB Programmes, accreditation of the IBPYP & IBDP, and been a part of the Council of International Schools pre- authorization self-study. He is also the examiner for TOK
