Just when you think that we have exhausted almost all innovative ways of teaching, out comes a refreshingly fresh approach to teaching history in the form of skits! It’s a given that it’s somewhat difficult to remember all the happenings of certain events from throughout history, but it can be made much easier if you act out what you have learned about some of them. Grade 7 conducted short skits about administrative experiments that Muhammad bin Tughlaq tried out during his rule. Each performance was followed by a question and answer session. This is an effective method to involve students to think and analyse topics of History and one thing is for sure, they are highly unlikely to forget this experience anytime soon!!!
