Ahead of International Yoga Day, which is celebrated on June 21, learn some incredible benefits of daily yoga practice with your family.

Yoga can bring the family closer through the practices of asanas, pranayama and mediation. There is something suitable for everyone- from physical practice to mind and fun activity to peacefulness.

7 DAY SCHEDULE

Day 1

Nature Yoga + Sun Dance (Sun Salutation) Building love and reverence for mother earth. Understanding the importance of nature and taking care of it too.

Day 2

Yoga for Better Memory and Concentration We’ll work towards Improving focus and concentration which has a positive effect on learning and memory.

Day 3

Immunity Boosting Yoga + Breath Awareness A combination of Asanas and Pranayama (breathing exercises) to develop healthy lungs. More oxygen is made available per breath, making the breathing most efficient. Conscious deep breathing greatly affects the cortical activities, relaxing the nervous system, which calms the mind by removing thoughts and emotions.

Day 4

Fun Yoga and Games We’ll have some games and fun yoga to nurture the bond between parents and children. It will also help with social development, making friends and cooperating with others.

Day 5

Sound Yoga Through a combination of Asanas , Sounds and Mantras we’ll help improves awareness and understanding of the body. It’ll create an atmosphere of non-competitive physical activity . They learn techniques they can use to relax in everyday life.

Day 6

Animal Yoga + Sports Yoga Yoga where we mimic different aspects of animals and different sports. This will be fun and bring out the child even in the parents, helping them bond with kids better.

Day 7

Happy Yoga Last day will be a celebration and a culmination of all that we learnt. It’ll encourage them to move through asana and through life with joy and a smile.

Terms & Conditions

1. Please make a proper space and place the system where both parent and child can watch and practice the activity.
2. School is not responsible if any injuries occur during the Yoga Workshop.
3. Gear up with mat, towel, Breathable clothes and water bottle.
4. Please arrive at least ten minutes before class.
5. It is the responsibility of the participant to notify to School before the workshop of any previous injury, illness, or conditions that may impact their practice.
