Christmas Celebrations

Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, celebrated generally on December 25as a religious and cultural holiday by billions of people around the world.

Nativity plays are staged in many schools and churches on Christmas morning. The performances by young children depict the birth, life and actions of Jesus Christ and usually end with the singing of hymns and carols and the visit of a person dressed as Santa to distribute candies/toffees to kids.

At Candor, the kids performed a Czechoslovakian play. They decided how they wanted to interpret the play and they were brilliant on stage because they were so spontaneous. Everybody appreciated their performance. It was wonderful to see the entire student body participating in some way or another. Their performance was a commendable outcome of their drama course.  Credit is due to Ms. Viv.

Below are a few pictures of the celebrations.

Kudos! Job well done! Have a blessed Christmas and a restful break.
